For the last game of the season in the second American Football League (GFL2) received the Kaiserslautern Pikes Franken Knights of the league leaders in front of nearly 1,000 spectators at the South School. After the Knights had been given before the kickoff handed the championship trophy at AFVD Vice President Thomas Meyer, they let the Pikes at a gala performance with no chance and won 48:7.

Ready ... set ... hut! ; It starts in the heat and ends in the frost, the adventure of a lifetime. It‘s football season again. 2009 will be an inaugural year for the Pikes as they will be competing as a GFL Division II team in the summer of 2009, with Sven Gloss as the head coach.
As the Pikes prepare themselves for the start of the new football season, the team looks at two of the newest and most talented additions to the gridiron.
