If you are playing for the Kaiserslautern Pikes, you will live in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate). The Pfalz borders on Luxembourg, France, and Belgium ad contains two-thirds of the wine growing area in Germany. The Mosel and Rhein Rivers flow through much of the Rheinland-Pfalz and their valleys comprise the main wine regions.

Kaiserslautern is home to 99,469 people. Between 1950 and 1955, Kaiserslautern developed into the largest US military community outside of the United States. That's why Kaiserslautern is also referred to as "K-town"; a term coined by the early American military population who had difficulty pronouncing the name.

The Kaiserslautern military community (KMC) is a community of Americans living in and around Kaiserslautern. Germany is supporting the United States armed forces and NATO installations, such as the Ramstein Air Base (the largest air base in Europe), Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Kapaun Air Station, and so on. With around 53,000 american people, including military service members, Department of Defense civilians and contractors as well as their families, the KMC is the largest U.S. military community outside of the United States.
